A small independently owned Seattle based company, Field Roast, is home of the vegan grain meat products with lots of protein and seasonings for a flavorful kick. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you can choose from Apple Maple Breakfast Sausage, Deli Slices, Sausages, Hand Formed-Burgers, Chao (Cheese) slices in Original, Tomato Cayenne, and Coconut Herb flavors. Products are made with wheat protein, vegetables, and spices.
I made a recipe using the Italian sausage made with eggplant, fennel, garlic, and red pepper. First, I sauteed onions and red peppers in canola oil (you can use your oil of preference) until fork tender. It usually takes to 10-12 minutes. Add the sausages and cook for about 5-7 minutes. Suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
